Merchandising Administrative Assistant:
An ideal opportunity for an individual with merchandising and sales experience to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must have excellent Excel, Mathematics and Analytical abilities.
We are seeking exceptional candidates to join our Team, as we expand.
Responsibilities include:
- Follow up and tracking of purchase orders using spread sheets and other methods to ensure on time shipping, product packaging approval, sample approval, shipments, and follow up on communications involving our customers and Asia offices
- Creating & preparing reports and spread sheets & assisting to prepare customer presentations for our Account Executives
- Photographing samples, packing and unpacking samples
- Reviewing sales, sell thru data, and inventory and post-sales meeting recap presentations
- Data entry and follow up on communications involving both written (primarily email) and verbal correspondence
- Taking and screening calls; managing calendars; making travel, meeting and appointment arrangements; preparing reports, PowerPoints, financial data and expense reports; proofing communications, and customer relations
The successful candidates will preferably be a college graduate, with experience in administrative duties for management; have strong computer and internet skills, clear and concise written and verbal communication, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients.
Candidates should also be detail orientated, able to lift 25 – 35 lbs., have good math skills, good at multi-tasking, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Power Point), with experience with pivot tables, formulas in Excel. Sensitivity to confidential matters may be required.
Ability to thrive in a fast-past environment is essential. Some domestic travel may be required.
The position is on-site in our Clearwater, FL office. While there is some current, temporary hybrid work from home schedules a couple of days a week for some teams, please note that this is only temporary.
