What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant General Manager position at Fourteen Foods Career Center?
Position Overview:
The Restaurant Assistant General Manager provides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit. The Assistant General Manager will assist the General Manager and District Manager with daily restaurant operations. This will include managing staff, monitoring food and labor costs, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment.
Assistant General Manager Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 2 years previous experience as a restaurant Assistant Manager required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location. Fluency in English may be essential for certain customer service stations within this position.
