What you’ll do : As a Fourteen Foods Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will carry the responsibility of delivering a positive first impression and applicant experience to anyone interested in joining our team. We strongly believe that not only are our Talent Acquisition Specialists the ones who set the tone, they are the first step in retention. They are a critical part in determining if our applicants also become Fans!
Our Talent Acquisition Specialists handle full-cycle talent acquisition efforts for operational level positions within an assigned region, as well as home office positions. When business needs arise, they also assist with new store openings. Through a variety of methods our Talent Acquisition Specialists create an applicant pool and lead candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, all while building a positive and comforting relationship. They stay connected with newly hired team members through onboarding and training, as well as during their career with Fourteen Foods. They partner with operations leadership and help build a first-class team.

How you’ll do it :
Represent the Fourteen Foods culture, and ensure candidates receive a positive experience throughout the entire Talent Acquisition process.Build and maintain partnerships with corporate and field hiring managers and provide exceptional customer service.Take thorough job orders. Get to know and understand your market and leadership teams, and what makes each store unique, which may require travel. Recruit accordingly.Ensure job descriptions are correct, create requisitions, post to available job boards and refresh as needed.Search for qualified candidates through a variety of creative techniques : Career / job fairs, social media, field recruiting, headhunting, networking, etc.Manage social media community engagement. Maintain the Fourteen Foods Recruitment Brand Strategy by creating ads and media campaigns to encourage candidate engagement with the brand and targeted market (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). Partner with marketing department as necessary.Continuously create a pool of qualified external candidates.Partner with operations leadership to build and assess internal bench. Assist with succession planning.Although Talent Acquisition Specialists work independently and in an assigned territory, partner with team members and share applicants who may succeed in other regions.Maintain communication with every applicant regarding their progression through the application process.Conduct phone screens and / or initial interviews, narrowing the pool of top applicants to move forward.Continuously monitor and update ATS throughout recruitment and hiring process.Provide on-site support to operations leadership team during new store openings and acquisitions.Conduct open interviews and orientation / onboarding activities, as needed.Assist in identifying, tracking and reporting on Talent KPIs. Routinely meet or exceed time-to-fill, budget and candidate quality metrics / expectations.Partner with Talent Acquisition team and assist in other markets, as needed.Participate in Talent Acquisition projects and lead projects, as assigned.Support and drive Talent Acquisition efforts for corporate positions, as needed.Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations governing the recruitment, application, selection and hiring of employees.Required experience, and what you need to be great at :
Five or more years working in full cycle recruitment, preferably in-house.Exceptional interviewing skills and techniques. Desire to continuously improve and learn more.Experience with high-volume recruiting.Project management experience, preferably in recruitment and / or human resources.Experience in gathering data and reporting on Talent Acquisition key performance indicators and metrics, and the meaning behind the reports.Marketing, branding, advertising and social media strategy experience a plus.Strong written and verbal communications skills. An excellent storyteller.Strongly prefer multi-site recruitment experience.Strongly prefer recruitment experience in the restaurant, convenience store, hospitality, or retail industries.Strongly prefer field recruitment experience.Understanding of and comfort with various job board sites.Outgoing, sales-oriented personality comfortable with cold calling, cold networking, field recruiting, and conducting in person job fairs. Sales background a plus.Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to act as a Fourteen Foods ambassador to candidates, internally throughout the organization, publicly, and through social media.
