Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and qualified secondary teachers in specialized subjects (such as Mathematics, ELA, Science, Foreign , History, Geography, etc.) to join our dynamic educational team. As a specialized subject teacher, you will inspire and engage students, fostering a learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing curricula, and supporting students’ academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:
- Teach specialized subjects to students at the secondary level, ensuring a thorough understanding of subject content.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards.
- Utilize various instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
- Assess student performance regularly through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.
- Classroom Management:
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Foster a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and high expectations.
- Implement strategies for managing student behavior and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
- Student Support & Guidance:
- Identify and support students’ individual learning needs and provide appropriate interventions.
- Encourage students' personal and academic growth through mentorship, advice, and guidance.
- Work closely with other teachers, counselors, and parents to track student progress and address any concerns.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in education and developments within your subject area.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and insights to improve teaching practices.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and school-wide initiatives.
- Assist in planning and organizing extracurricular activities related to your subject area (e.g., science fairs, art exhibits, competitions).
Qualifications:
- Education:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant specialized subject (e.g., Mathematics, Science, History, etc.).
- A recognized teaching certification/license (where applicable).
- Experience:
- Previous experience teaching secondary school students in a specialized subject is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Enthusiasm for the subject and a commitment to student-centered teaching.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $49,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
