Our client, a popular children's apparel brand, is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join their team. Experience working with off-price retailers is required!
**This role is onsite 4-5 days per week
Responsibilities:
- Assist Account Managers across development of programs
- Review and report on sales, inventory, and margin performance
- Maintain strong cross-functional relationships to ensure timely delivery
- Conduct sales analysis
- Manage quarterly market analysis
- Understand market competition and identify areas of opportunity
- Ensure assortments align with sales history, market trends, and margin goals
- Monitor PO's
- Monitor buyer communication
- Coordinate sample requests
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in wholesale or account management
- Bachelors Degree required
- Proficiency in Excel is required
- Prior experience managing Walmart is preferred
- High organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal communication & writing skills
- Retail math skills
