Our client, a wholesale footwear and accessories company, is seeking an Associate Footwear Designer to join their team in NYC!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create original, trend-setting designs
- Create and update CADs
- Develop tech packs
- Research the market
- Work across multiple design projects simultaneously
- Review and maintain samples
- Maintain PLM
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of design experience working on footwear
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with PLM systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong sense of fashion, style, color, and conceptual skills
