Our client, a contemporary apparel brand, is seeking a Design Assistant to join their women's team working on knitwear!
What you will do:
- Assist the Head Designer
- Conduct trend research
- Create lookbooks
- Develop printed sales materials for market
- Maintain organization of sample development
- Assist with presentations
- Attend fittings
- Help with tech packs
What you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design
- 1 years of experience in Knitwear design, or a knitwear design internship is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign required
- Must highly organized and detailed oriented
