Our client is seeking a Design Trend Associate to support their design team with trend forecasting, mood boards, research.

Key Responsibilities:
Trend Analysis & Forecasting:
- Monitor global trends across runways, trade shows, social media, and influencers.
- Research consumer behavior, cultural shifts, and market trends.
- Create trend reports and mood boards.
- Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create engaging presentations and mood boards.
Trend Shopping:
- Conduct local trend-shopping trips to gather insights from retail markets, cultural hubs, and emerging street styles.
- Translate findings into actionable recommendations for product development.
- Help with expenses and organization of shopping.
- Attend fabric and print shows to source materials and gather inspiration.
Market & Competitor Research:
- Analyze competitor strategies and product launches.
- Collaborate with teams to position products relative to industry trends.
Collaborative Development:
- Recommend colors, fabrics, silhouettes, and design elements for collections with a focus on childrenswear.
- Work with design and marketing teams to align collections with trends.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years in trend forecasting or analysis, childrenswear expertise is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (a must).
- Strong visual storytelling and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of WGSN or similar trend tools preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
