Our client, an established apparel brand, is looking for a highly motivated Director of Operations to join their team in NY!
This role will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring seamless communication between cross-functional teams, overseas vendors, and warehouse operations to meet account deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the shipment of containers from overseas vendors to the U.S. warehouse.
- Track shipments, validate shipping documents, and resolve discrepancies.
- Update AMT order tracking system and provide timely status reports.
- Ensure warehouse receipts are accurate and issue chargebacks for shortages.
- Manage invoice verification and coordinate with Finance for payments.
- Communicate with the sales team on delivery extensions.
- Generate work orders for reworking goods at the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Logistics/Operations roles within wholesale apparel.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to work full-time on site.
