Director of Sales - Handbags

Our client, a handbag manufacturing company, is seeking a Director of Sales - Handbags to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee account management for assigned territories.
• Act as the main contact point for licensee coordination regarding marketing and planning activities.
• Handle all aspects of sales operations from start to finish within the designated areas.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for handbag products.
• Manage relationships with senior executives, including the SVP of Sales and CEO, to ensure smooth operations with key accounts.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the handbag industry a plus.
• Relationships with major department stores highly preferred (Macy's, Nordstrom, etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field is preferred.
