What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Vendor Compliance and Chargeback position at Fourth Floor?
Our established wholesale fashion client, is seeking an experienced and dynamic head of vendor compliance/chargeback to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee QC/QA to decrease compliance variance with retail partners
- Identify chargeback claims received for customers and vendors
- Improve processes to reduce chargeback claims
- Manage and problem solve customer complaints or questions on dispute
- Review received information for disputed investigation
- Maintain aging of deduction/chargebacks
- Collaborate with Shipping, Sales, AR and Accounting Team to ensure compliance and vendor guides to prevent deductions
- Dispute invalid deductions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
- 10 years or working experience or 5 years specific to chargeback/analyst/accounting/AR
- Knowledge of accounting software, general ledger and inventory system
- M3 knowledge a plus
- Problem solver
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multi-task and detail oriented
- Positive attitude
