Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is looking for a Learning & Development Manager to join their team on a temp basis, covering a maternity leave. This role is responsible for managing internship training.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement innovative development strategies and effective learning programs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that L&D initiatives and D&I initiatives are aligned with individual, and team needs.
- Strategize organizational priorities regarding diversity, inclusion, learning and development.
- Ideate & Design learning and development programs and materials, in partnership with the team.
- Lead new intern orientation
- Ensure all interns have materials to be successful based on their role
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of learning and development programs to create a culture of continuous development, by providing data and audits regularly to the Head of Learning and Development.
- Deliver selected training programs, including assisting new openings, when required.
- Manage the monthly L&D calendar and assist in coordination of booking rooms for trainings.
- Ensure emergency procedures are rehearsed quarterly with attendance records, implemented, and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees
- Act as a resource for all interns trough out their program duration
Requirements:
- 5 years of direct Learning & Development experience with the ability to lead interns.
- Expert presentation and facilitation skills.
- Skilled with developing training programs and materials.
- Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
- Relationship builder and phenomenal communicator.
