What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Designer position at Fourth Floor?
Our client, a textile company is seeking a Print Designer to join their team
Responsibilities:
- Design new patterns, recolor existing ones, develop pattern repeats, and produce alternate color variations for prints.
- Prepare technical specifications for all print and pattern layouts for external partners.
- Deliver production-ready artwork, in both digital and print formats, for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with the design team to visualize, present, and communicate pattern concepts using CAD artwork.
- Assist the sales team by expediting customer prints and handling recoloration requests as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in the Textile/Fashion industry.
- Degree in Textile Design or a related design field.
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Ned Graphics.
- Strong understanding of repeats and layout design.
- Excellent color sense.
- Organized, resourceful, and proactive with the ability to manage workflow efficiently
