Print/Graphic Designer - Activewear

Our Client, a fast growing apparel company is seeking a Print/Graphic Designer - Activewear to join their team in NYC.

Responsibilities:

• Create graphic designs for a broad range of knits & wovens – with a focus on knit tops such as tees and fleece
• Create original artwork
• Able to follow direction from design director and incorporate ideas/inspiration into original graphics
• Stay on top of market trends and trend research & able to translate those trends into retailer appropriate graphics
• Present original design concept ideas and be open to feedback
• Create patterns and placed graphics
• Create layout for cads

Requirements:

• Excellent Illustrator/Photoshop skills
• Prior apparel graphic design experience
• Knowledgeable in current trend and apparel graphic designs
• Must be able to multi task well in a fast paced environment and have strong attention to detail
• Hand sketching/painting skills a plus, but not mandatory
• Ability to work full time in the NYC office
