Our rapidly growing wholesale homeware client, is seeking a dynamic senior product development manager to join their team with experience in the home space.
Responsibilities:
- Work with suppliers to ensure product requirements such as, design specs, material review, packaging and costing.
- Act as liaison between sales and suppliers.
- Work directly with our sales, design, and production teams to bring innovative products to market
- Maintain profitability of your category through sales review, material costs, freight calculation and feedback.
- Frequent market comp shops to stay up to date on market knowledge of price points, key items, and trends.
- Communicate with our sales teams to ensure they have all necessary tools to sell products into their retail channels.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in a product development, sourcing or relevant industry role
- Must have basic MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Must be a team player with a positive outlook
- Must be organized
- Must be a self starter
- Most importantly, must love product and want to "own" your categories and see them through to successful execution in stores across the world
