What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assistant position at Fourth Floor?
Our client, a wholesale apparel and undergarments brand, is seeking a Production Assistant to join their growing team! This role will be within their licensed apparel division, supporting production across top entertainment studio partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Track inbound and outbound sample packages (strike-offs, trims, lab dips, hang tags, polybags, fit samples, PP samples, TOP samples)
- Review and verify price tags, style numbers, color codes, sizes, placements, and packaging details
- Maintain knowledge of vendor guidelines across major retailers
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and overseas factories to keep all stakeholders aligned
- Troubleshoot production issues and offer solutions to ensure deadlines are met
- Review tracking labels, carton markings, and price tickets against purchase orders
- Analyze and manage ship dates in accordance with the Time & Action calendar
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized
- Comfortable working under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Previous experience in licensed apparel or fashion production is a plus
$55,000-$65,000 depending on experience ; Full time in office schedule
