We are looking for an outgoing and organized Recruiting Associate to support one of our busiest fashion Account Executives and Recruiters at our New York City office.
In this role, you will help the recruiter manage the direct-hire recruiting process for candidates being placed with the top brands in luxury, contemporary, beauty, menswear, home goods, lifestyle and more.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong admin, retail or sales background looking to build a career in fashion recruiting.
What you will do:
- Source, screen and schedule candidates using a variety of recruiting tools and techniques
- Send online applications and ensure timely completion
- Greet candidates and take initial interview details
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our database
- Enter and update job orders and client/contact information
- Complete reference checks and employment verifications
- Serve as a backup point of contact for any client and candidate calls
- Coordinate, confirm, and send detailed interview confirmations to candidates
- Edit, draft and post ads on our job boards
- Prepare resumes and portfolios for client submissions
- Keep account executive on task with interviews, client meetings, lunches, and appointments
- Complete reference checks
- Support cold calling, lead generation and sales efforts
- Help with various administrative, marketing, and recruiting projects as needed
What you will need:
- A degree in fashion is strongly preferred
- An outgoing, professional personality
- To be comfortable interacting with clients and talent at all levels and industries
- A proactive nature; anticipate needs and find solutions to problems
- A sharp eye for design and details
- A warm and engaging communication and writing style
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; especially Outlook, Teams and Zoom
- A familiarity with sourcing and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, StyleCareers, Indeed, etc.
