Our client, a children's clothing brand, is seeking a Senior Merchandise Planner to join their team in New York!
2-3 days required on site
Responsibilities
- Analyze daily and weekly sales & inventory reports
- Build financial plans and budgets
- Provide feedback and formulate future business strategies based on analysis
- Review shipping forecasts to maximize sales trend
- Compile assortment analysis to determine order quantities
- Create production plans
- Review and re-project ladder plans for season by style on a weekly basis
- Identify sales and profit opportunities
- Present sales and trend analysis to assist with future seasons
Requirements
- 5 years' experience in planning or analysis
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to negotiate and present information in a receptive manner
- Understanding of retail math and mathematical logic
- Experience with Retail Link, Tableau, Adobe Illustrator, PowerBI, and SQL is a plus

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
