Our client, a well-known contemporary brand is seeking an a Store Manager for their new Wilmington location.
Responsibilities:
- Set a high standard for customer service and ensure the store maintains brand-aligned standards.
- Partner with the Store Manager to motivate the team, driving them to exceed sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure the team is knowledgeable about products, brand history, and competitors, enhancing their ability to deliver a consistent message to clients.
- Identify areas for improvement in product, sales, and team performance, and propose solutions to the Store Manager.
- Guide staff to surpass individual sales targets and KPIs, while ensuring the customer remains the top priority.
- Elevate customer service, ensuring a seamless and personalized shopping experience.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new and current staff, fostering talent retention and growth within the team.
- Manage opening and closing duties, uphold visual merchandising standards, and ensure proper stock handling and replenishment.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to complete reporting, timekeeping, and inventory management to maintain operational efficiency.
About You:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent required, college Degree Preferred
- Must have strong computer skills (MS Office)
- Teamwork, or similar Point of Sales (POS) systems, and other reporting/analytics systems
- Foreign language skills a plus
- Ideally has a cultivated and established clientele following
- Ability to relocate is preferable to maximize career development opportunities
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in retail sales or related field, with at least 2 years of supervisory responsibility
