What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Designer, Childrens Swim position at Fourth Floor?
A Leading Swimwear Manufacturer is seeking a Technical Designer to join their team in NYC. This role will work across the kids swim division. Requires 5 days a week onsite.
In this role, you will work with various departments to design fit and patterns for swimwear lines for the company. Your experience in swim and / or lingerie and your exceptional technical abilities will make you an ideal candidate for this position.
You will :
- Create initial specs in development stage
- Approve fit and construction throughout development and production
- Make recommendations and revisions on samples
- Review tech packs and spec sheets
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure all deadlines are met
- Conduct fittings
- Issue graded specs in preparation for bulk production
- Create 3D samples in Vstitcher using for presentation to our buyer
