Our client is seeking an Assistant Designer for Kids Sleepwear to join the team on a temp basis in their New York office.
Responsibilities
- Assist the design team in the creation of brand-right designs that reflect the conceptual direction / business strategy
- Develop mood boards and concept presentations
- Create CAD sketches for line sheets with Adobe Suite
- Manage production worksheets
- Communicate ongoing development details to internal partners and vendors
- Partner with technical design on fit and execution of prototypes, assisting with scheduled fittings and necessary follow-up
- Track and organize development samples, ensuring they are delivered within required timeline
- Adapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalization
- Stay up to date on competitor research / trend analysis
