Job Summary:
Perform general labor such as moving, washing, and cleaning parts. Workers may also assist with preparing parts for painting such as sanding and taping. They use basic hand tools and must maintain a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks such as moving, washing, and cleaning parts.
- Assist with preparing parts for painting by sanding and taping.
- Use basic hand tools as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support the painting process
Required Competencies:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of painting processes and techniques.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Good ethical judgment.
- Has a strong ability to generate ideas, show creativity, and provide solutions.
- Must have exceptional productivity skills. Can be relied on to get the job done accurately and on time.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Tasks require the regular and sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work.
- Some combination of climbing and balancing to include climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- May involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds).
