This entails a dual commitment to obtaining value for our investment and upholding rigorous quality standards. Your duties will encompass close collaboration with suppliers, meticulous inventory management, vigilant analysis of market dynamics and a significant contribution to the overarching success of the organization.
This position is based in Milledgeville, GA and will report to the Purchasing Manager.

This position is based in Milledgeville, GA and will report to the Purchasing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and demand, making purchase decisions to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Schedules purchase orders strategically to ensure uninterrupted and timely continuity of supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, pricing, and supplier information utilizing the organization's ERP system.
- Conduct and understand organizational and market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, products, and services to support operational need.
- Develop, foster, and maintain healthy and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new suppliers, ensuring effective communication with supply partners.
- Conducts periodic supplier visits to critical supply partners, to maintain relationship and organizational understanding of their capabilities and continuous improvement activities.
- Resolve any issues, or disputes, with suppliers, such as late deliveries, quality concerns, or contractual non-compliance, ensuring a satisfactory resolution that aligns with the operational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, statistics or related fields, or job experience equivalency.
- 5-7 years of professional experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft AX R3, preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing and applying analytics to real-world data challenges.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain, preferred.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential.
