Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization.
Also responsible for managing, developing and supporting employees within the organization.
Duties
- Utilize technical accounting skills to process payroll accurately
- Perform double entry bookkeeping to maintain payroll records
- Utilize financial software to input and process payroll data
- Conduct general ledger accounting related to payroll transactions
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of payroll records
- Familiarity with ADP or Paychex systems for payroll processing
- Assist with corporate accounting tasks related to payroll
- Analyze payroll data for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Training and developing employees
- Managing performance, compensation and benefits
- Keeping track of employee information and maintaining employee records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in payroll administration or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
