Parts Counterperson - Fowler Kia of Longmont
Fowler Kia of Longmont has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Parts Counterperson. We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Parts Counterperson. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers (retail and shop) warmly and assist all in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, providing accurate and timely information.
- Reviews service repair order estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
- Utilizes electronic parts catalog systems and other resources to accurately identify automotive parts.
- Reviews all wholesale customer requests to make sure the parts are ordered and priced correctly and provide wholesale parts customer with delivery dates.
- Collaborates with other team members, including sales associates, technicians, and management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Communicates effectively with other departments to coordinate special orders, returns, and exchanges.
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
Requirements
Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier

Compensation
$55,000 - $65,000 Salary/Annually
Education and/or experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Prior experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, including components, brands, and compatibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and electronic parts catalogs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on new automotive technologies and products.
