We are looking for a part-time, passionate and experienced Capital Campaign Consultant to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. What You’ll Do

As a Capital Campaign Consultant, you’ll lead and manage capital campaigns from start to finish, working closely with nonprofit executives, major donors, and campaign volunteers. You’ll be responsible for:

• Visioning & Case Development – Lead the client in developing their case for support and campaign budget.
• Feasibility Studies – Conducting donor and stakeholder interviews to validate campaign goals and readiness.
• Campaign Implementation – Serving as the project manager for campaign execution, ensuring activities are completed on time and with integrity.
• Fundraising Strategy & Counsel – Providing expert guidance to nonprofit leadership, boards, and volunteers on major gifts fundraising and donor engagement.

Some of the Work You’ll Do with Our Clients

• Provide senior-level consulting for capital campaigns with an organization of at least a $5M operating budget;
• Communicate with clients clearly and consistently, serving as an expert guide for the capital campaign process;
• Conduct interviews with high-net-worth individuals with poise, professionalism, and integrity ;
• Provide campaign education and major gifts solicitation training, when applicable, to Board of Directors members and campaign volunteers;
• Develop campaign leadership and volunteer engagement plans;
• Provide strategy and research to assist staff and volunteers in soliciting 6-7 figure gifts;
• Prepare progress and final reports of campaign results with follow-up action plans;
• Collaborate with Campaign Operations to develop a comprehensive scope of work;
• Build trusting relationships with key members in the philanthropic community and nonprofit leadership;
• Represent Fox Advancement at client meetings.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 10 years of experience leading capital campaigns, including feasibility studies and major gifts fundraising.
• Proven ability to facilitate meetings and manage donor interactions with professionalism.
• Strong project management skills, ensuring campaigns stay on track.
• Experience working remotely and managing digital collaboration tools like Google Drive.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with nonprofit leaders, board members, and donors.
• Must be based in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area to support local clients effectively.
