We are looking for a creative and customer-focused Part-Time Social Media & Sales Associate to join the Fox and Hound Children’s Boutique team. This unique dual-role position is perfect for someone with a passion for storytelling through social media, has a keen eye for content creation and also thrives in a retail environment. You’ll play a vital role in shaping our online presence while providing exceptional in-store experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Creation and management:
Bring our brand’s vision to life: Create and curate captivating photos, reels, and videos that align with our aesthetic and values.
Collaborate on campaigns: Share ideas and strategies for upcoming launches, promotions, and seasonal content.
Showcase store life: Highlight the personality of our boutique by capturing behind-the-scenes moments and customer favorites.
Engage with followers: Respond to comments and messages promptly to build an authentic online community.
Sales Associate Duties:
Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Assist customers in finding products, offering recommendations, and answering questions.
Market store promotions, discounts and loyalty card sign-ups.
Work independently during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing tasks.
Operate Shopify for transactions and maintain accurate cash handling.
Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Actively work toward achieving sales goals and going the extra mile to exceed customer expectations.
Stay informed about the brands and products we carry to provide knowledgeable service.
Schedule:
Approximately 15-20 hours per week
Must be available Fridays and Saturdays, with additional weekday shifts based on the schedule.
Must be comfortable working independently during assigned shifts.
Qualifications:
Experience or passion for social media content creation, with a strong understanding of photos, reels, and brand storytelling.
Ability to visualize and execute on-brand content that resonates with our audience.
Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Experience or willingness to learn Shopify for sales and inventory management.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
A passion for creativity and understanding of our brand’s unique identity.

End Date: October 1 (with the possibility of extending longer based on performance and availability).
Paid Training: Comprehensive training provided to set you up for success.
