Responsibilities
Diagnose engine and transmission issues using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and techniques to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
Perform complex repairs and replacements on engine and transmission systems for General Motors Vehicles.
Maintain detailed records of service work, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.
Collaborate with team members and provide insights on challenging technical issues to foster a supportive work environment.
Stay informed on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to provide the best service possible.
Requirements
Experience : At least 3 years of experience in engine and transmission repair.
Certification : ASE Certification in Engine and Transmission Repair is highly preferred.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle engines and transmissions.
Physical Abilities : Capable of lifting heavy parts and working in physically demanding environments.
Diagnostic Skills : Competence in utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Communication : Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical details to customers as needed.
Reliability : Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Adaptability : Ability to understand and implement new repair techniques and technology changes.
