Position Summary:

The Transfer Delivery Driver for Fox Bros. BBQ is responsible for the timely and safe delivery of food, equipment, and supplies between Fox Bros. locations, commissary kitchens, and event venues. The driver plays a crucial role in ensuring that all deliveries meet the standards of the company, maintaining the quality and freshness of the products while adhering to delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pickup & Delivery: Transport food products, supplies, and equipment between Fox Bros. BBQ locations, commissary kitchens, and other designated spots.
• Time Management: Adhere to delivery schedules and routes as assigned by the logistics team. Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or damage immediately.
• Product Handling: Ensure all food items are properly loaded, secured, and handled to maintain quality during transport.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including pickup and delivery times, as well as any issues encountered during transport.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with staff at different locations and represent the company with professionalism.
• Compliance: Follow all company, state, and federal safety regulations, including proper food handling and transportation laws.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience: Prior experience in delivery driving, preferably in food service, is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Area: Familiarity with the local area and routes is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly and work in varying weather conditions.
• Skills: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, handle multiple deliveries, and manage time efficiently.
