Position Purpose

The Fox Cities Chamber is seeking the right person to join our team as a Member Relations Manager. This role could be either full or part time, depending on your skills and schedule. As a key part of our Chamber team, the position will focus on providing value and meaningful connections to retain existing Chamber members and secure new members.

The ideal candidate is someone who excels at building relationships, is a self-starter, good listener, and able to work collaboratively. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Retain existing members:
• Assist members with questions and their accounts.
• Contact existing members via phone and in-person to establish rapport, discuss member value, determine their business needs, and collect pertinent data.

• Acquire new members:
• Perform prospecting activities, including but not limited to, research, referrals, networking, and cold-calling.
• Follow up on all inbound leads and provide information as requested
• Identify companies that are candidates for membership and sell them on the value proposition of being a member of the Chamber; adapt value proposition and delivery to audience.

• Plan member meetings, provide event support, and conduct other related duties in support of overall member development and health of the organization.
• Attend community functions important to the Fox Cities Chamber goals
• Establish rapport with all Chamber staff and maintain good working relationships.
• Provide excellent customer service and exhibit the highest degree of ethical conduct.
• Clearly and professionally communicate the organization’s mission, values and business objectives to both internal and external audiences.
• Maintain an excellent understanding of Chamber products, benefits, values, and services and be able to effectively represent and speak to the Chamber value proposition.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $41,886.00 per year
