We currently have a new career opportunity for a full-time Content Marketing Manager based out of our corporate office (Enterprise) in Appleton!
The Content Marketing Manager focuses on planning, writing, editing, and managing content marketing projects for various platforms and marketing channels. This role is responsible for leading and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the credit union’s goals, elevates our brand, and deepens member relationships. The Content Marketing Manager contributes to high-quality content, marketing, and external communications across multiple digital and print formats, while ensuring consistency of Fox’s brand voice, implementing marketing best practices and maintaining compliance with necessary regulations.
The primary responsibilities of the Content Marketing Manager role include but are not limited to:
- Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
- Writing, editing, and managing the creation and distribution of engaging content for a variety of formats and platforms, including but not limited to, blogs, social media posts, ads, emails, website content, television and radio scripts, newsletters, billboards, mailers, press releases, and member communications
- Owning and managing a content marketing calendar to plan and execute content strategies, ensuring timely delivery of content in alignment with business needs and marketing campaigns
- Managing the credit union’s organic social media strategy and presence, producing and posting content and working with marketing team members and agency partners to create unique assets and build an engaged online community
- Contributing to the development and execution of creative briefs and ensuring content is optimized for each tactic (digital, print, broadcast, etc.)
- Translating complex financial concepts into clear, engaging, persuasive, and easily digestible content that educates prospects and members and connects them to Fox
- Implementing SEO best practices in written content for websites and blogs
- Using behavioral science, market research, member data, marketing technology, and tools to continuously optimize and improve content quality and efficiency
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure clear, consistent, on-brand messaging that achieves Fox corporate goals and adheres to legal and regulatory standards within the financial industry
- Managing a content database to ensure content is organized and easily accessible
- Staying up to date on industry news and best practices to continually improve content marketing efforts
Candidates for the Content Marketing Manager position should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, a related field, or equivalent experience that demonstrates strong content writing skills
- Certifications (preferred): Content marketing or digital marketing
- 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related role
- Experience managing social media channels and creating community-driven content
- Experience creating and distributing short-form and long-form content
- Experience in content development and the management and execution of content plans
- Knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing trends
- Familiarity with financial services or credit unions, and their regulations and compliance standards (preferred)
- Comfortable with the use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and editing skills with a deep understanding of audience segmentation and engagement
- Ability to leverage AI-powered tools to enhance content ideation, strategy, and efficiency, while ensuring originality, quality, and compliance
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative ideas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and a team player with a positive attitude
