What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Solutions Analyst position at Fox Communities Credit Union?
We currently have a career opportunity for a full-time Digital Solutions Analyst based out of our corporate office (Enterprise) in Appleton! After initial onboarding onsite, this position could have the opportunity for hybrid (3 days onsite/week, 2 remote) work consideration.
The Digital Solutions Analyst serves as the expert in the assigned functionality aspects of digital banking, including online and mobile banking, money movement, online account opening, and other features of digital banking. They also implement approved new features and changes to the product suite and act as a liaison between solution providers, member-facing channels, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure Fox Communities Credit Union is consistently prepared to deliver exceptional digital experiences to members.
The primary responsibilities of the Digital Solutions Analyst role include but are not limited to:
- Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Fox Communities Credit Union’s consumer and business Mobile and Online Banking platforms, and all related services; while having an understanding and knowledge of other digital services, such as: payment systems (digital wallets and Zelle), online account opening, remote deposit capture services, and more
- Acting as a digital services expert, communicating benefits and details of planned changes and unplanned events to front-line team members, working with marketing/communications for member-facing communication and digital banking assets
- Actively participating with solution providers and creating/maintaining relationships with other solution-user financial institutions, including user groups and other best practice sharing groups
- Ensuring digital channels adhere to established security standards and compliance guidelines by ensuring proper communication, interaction, and approval by internal teams responsible for compliance, fraud, and risk
- Working with marketing to ensure focus is maintained on marketing efforts to drive improved use and satisfaction of product features and to identify new areas of benefit to improve the digital experience
- Clearly documenting system issues to ensure solution providers can identify and correct system issues
- Gathering and analyzing system requirements that specify how a business system supports/enables work activity in a business process
- Analyzing system requirements and working with broader IT team to recommend appropriate applications and technology solutions
- Analyzing data to identify patterns and solutions to root causes of problems
- Balancing multiple deadlines and prioritizing key deliverables
- Documenting specifications and mapping requirements for workflows, reports, data, and system integrations
- Creating reports and dashboards, and authoring technical documentation to support system configuration, business continuity planning, and standard operating procedures
- Assisting in preparation of end-user documentation and participating in training as needed
- Supporting software deployment activities
Candidates for the Digital Solutions Analyst position should possess:
- Minimum: Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in information systems certification or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or business
- Minimum: Two to five years of analyst work in a small to medium IT environment within a financial services company
- Preferred: Five to seven years of experience in Information Technology with a portion of time focused on business application processes in the financial services industry
- Preferred: Knowledge or experience in programming APIs, Web Services, XML
- Preferred: Knowledge or experience with SDK development and deployment
- Experience in project management
- Operational knowledge and experience with operating systems or common applications upon which applications run, such as Windows, Apple, iOS, Android, Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, FireFox, Safari, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), core processing systems and integration, custom programming, and knowledge of reporting tools
- Demonstrated advanced technical skills, including the ability to use, troubleshoot, and deploy multiple software platforms
- Must be detail oriented, with the ability to analyze all aspects of features and identifying risks and opportunities, including managing feature testing to ensure that even the smallest parts of the member journey are high quality
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation, combined with the desire to act as change-manager, conducting market research and promoting improvements aligned with departmental and credit union goals
- Demonstrated superior organizational skills, problem resolution skills, and the ability to multitask and meet or exceed established deadlines
- Proven ability to provide efficient and professional response to users at all levels of the organization within tight deadlines
- Superior written and verbal communication skills necessary to communicate clearly with internal teams and vendor technical support resources, combined with the ability to create mutually advantageous relationships with digital leaders at other financial institutions
