Sales Designer for Countertops

Fox Countertops is looking for a Sales/Designer to focus on countertop sales. This position is responsible for the growing and development of sales for Fox Countertops products. This position will work closely with our sales teams at all locations. Please apply and join our team if you feel that you have the qualifications for the position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Coordinate and execute projects.

· Coordinate estimates from Subcontractors.

· Communicate with the CAD manager, sales, and other departmental personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

· Design and develop layouts within the parameters of the client’s space and budget.

· Must be proficient in estimating tools and procedures in drawings, specifications, supplier quotations, engineering standards, and other information to provide material take-offs and cost estimates.

· Systematic and logical problem-solving skills.

· Open-mindedness and creative thinking.

· Have a basic knowledge of signage and fixtures and an understanding of materials and production timelines.

· Develop relationships with current customers and potential customers within specific territory

· Assist customers by providing knowledge and training company products to their store personnel, to ensure personnel is able to present product and negotiate well with consumers

· Understand our products, our market competition and how to position products to overcome these factors

· Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability.

· Quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales contracts for customer orders

· Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company’s delivery schedules.

· Review and analyze various sales reports to identify sales potential with current customers and potential new customers

· Utilize any and all marketing tools such as catalogs, brochures and vendor collateral to broaden reach in territory and promote company product

· Research and analyze customer needs and demands based on market information

· Investigate and resolve customer claims/problems with deliveries, returns and credits

· Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

Requirements and qualifications:

· Knowledge of Microsoft software and outlook.

· Stone Profit Systems software preferred.

· Knowledge of the kitchen design process.

· Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact well with internal staffing.

· Open-mindedness and creative thinking.

· Reading blueprints and layouts.

· Previous countertop sales and design preferred.

Education:

· High School Diploma required.

· 2-year degree in construction management &/or architecture design preferred but not required.

Experience:

· At least 2 years’ experience in sales, estimating, architect, or related positions preferably in cabinetry, construction, countertops or a related area.

· Or cabinet/countertop drafting and design: 1 year (Preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
