Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with the installation and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Help assemble pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to project requirements.
- Perform pipe threading and welding as needed under the supervision of a licensed plumber.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Support field service operations by transporting tools and materials to job sites.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in construction plumbing.
- Familiarity with hand tools and their proper use in plumbing tasks.
