Duties
-Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of water heaters in residential properties.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and make necessary repairs.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues with plumbing equipment.
-Collaborate with team members to design and implement modifications.
-Perform pipe threading, soldering, welding, and brazing to join pipes and secure fittings.
-Conduct inspections of plumbing/water heater systems to identify issues and make necessary repairs or replacements.
-Must be able to commute daily to the Hickam AFB.
Experience
-At least two years of plumbing experience.
-Strong knowledge of electrical in relation to plumbing.
-Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to plumbing systems.
-Read blueprints and understand technical specifications.
-Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
Skills
-Perform pipe threading, soldering, welding, and brazing to join pipes and secure fittings.
-Electrical Experience related to plumbing.
-Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repair work.
-Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
-Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and explain technical information clearly.
-Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes.
-Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose plumbing issues and find effective solutions.
-Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications.
-Must be able to install residential hot water heaters.
