Position Summary:
Operate PIVs (forklifts, stock pickers, turret stock pickers, etc) safely within a warehousing and manufacturing environment. Load and unload materials within warehouse racking, trailers, and ocean containers without causing damage to the product or equipment. Responsible for completing the daily PIV operator safety checksheet and promptly reporting any issues. Responsible for charging the PIVs during breaks, lunches, and at end-of-shift.
Position Responsibilities:
- Successfully complete PIV certification training classes.
- Safely operate PIVs both inside and outside of the facility.
- Complete PIV operator daily check sheets.
- Carefully operate PIVs to prevent damage to product or equipment.
- Some PIVs (stock pickers and turret stock pickers) raise the operator above the ground level (up to 25 feet) so must be comfortable with heights.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Available to work overtime as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
- Prior PIV experience (turret stock picker preferred)
- Prior experience in making electronic inventory transactions with movement of product (maintain inventory accuracy).
- Knowledge of warehouse management software (Oracle preferred).
- Knowledge of warehouse processes that support a manufacturing operation.

Position Qualifications:
Education:
High school or equivalent
Experience:
2 years of PIV experience (turret stock picker preferred)
Basic use of computer.
Other:
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
