Saw Operator
Marucci Sports, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fox Factory, was founded by two former MLB players and their athletic trainer who began handcrafting bats for some of the best players in the game from their garage in 2004. Fast forward to today, that dedication to quality and understanding of players’ needs has turned Marucci into an All-American success story, the number one bat preferred by players and The Official Bat of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Position Summary:
This role supports various operational activities, focusing on assisting line and splitting crews, managing billet handling and maintaining workplace cleanliness. This position plays a crucial part in keeping production running efficiently while adhering to safety standards and company protocols.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to the production line by handling materials, prepping equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Assist with log splitting.
- Load and unload billets into and out of kilns, ensuring proper handling and positioning to optimize drying processes.
- Clean and maintain work areas, machines, and tools as needed to ensure smooth operations and a safe, organized environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Actively maintain a safe work environment by identifying and reporting hazards.
- Operate the box truck as needed to transport materials, equipment, or products between locations, ensuring safely and proper loading, securing, and unloading of items during transport.
- Support production activities as needed.

Position Qualifications:
- Safely operate a chainsaw and all other equipment on site.
- Experience with sawmill operations.
- Knowledge of dry kiln operations.
- Demonstrated team leadership ability
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
