Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the plant to ensure vans are built timely and accurately. This is accomplished by reading the invoice and blueprints for each van to ensure accurate removal and installation of correct products.

Position Responsibilities

• Study van layout/blueprint
• Cut window openings, AC openings, and vents
• Drill prewire holes
• Direct wrap
• Install metal and wood infrastructure
• Add accessories
• Assemble cab shelves, exo shelves, and trim
• Roof top assemblies
• Fit and cut wood for paneling
• Locate pump and winterization locations
• Install cooling tank and heater furnace
• Route water, heat, coolant lines
• Integrate water into heating systems
• Install furniture/cabinetry
• Install mac track, bed rails, vents, wheel tub box
• Install A and B pillars
• Inventory management inside department
• Demonstrate skills to new hires
• Ensure quality standards are met on all parts
• Communicate with lead, team, and other departments as needed
• Perform other duties as required and assigned

Education

Position Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience

1-2 years of relevant work experience similar to RV technicians with structural, electrical and plumbing preferred.

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

• Prolonged sitting or standing for long periods of time.
• Frequent walking.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Occasionally will lift up to 25-50 pounds.
• Normal vision range.
• Normal sensory ability to smell.
• Frequent rapid mental/hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
