What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation Manage position at Fox Factory?
Designs, maintains, and manages compensation programs, which includes base pay, bonus, stock and executive compensation. Directs development and application of job evaluations, job descriptions, compensation grading and pricing to tie to market rates, compensation guidelines and policy.
Position Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the company's Compensation strategy and leads Compensation policy and procedure development.
- Designs, implements and maintains competitive, cost-effective, and equitable broad-based and compensation programs globally.
- Develops, implements, and maintains a job architecture globally. Works with HR field team to build career lattices per functional area.
- Provides input to maintain regulatory compliance, including the US Department of Labor, OFCCP, EEOC, etc.
- Implements and administers incentive plans including the creation and maintenance of an incentive accrual process in partnership with the company's Finance team.
- Drives consistency and compliance with Sales Commission plans through strong partnership with Finance, Sales Leaders and HRBP's.
- Supports the Company's mergers and acquisitions due diligence and integration activities.
- Leads the strategy of the annual compensation cycles for employees.
- Creates a strong partnership with HR Operations on program management of multiple compensation programs throughout the year.
- Leads the configuration and ongoing management of the Advanced Compensation module within Workday.
- Creates reports and conducts analysis to prepare results for executive review. May provide information for the Compensation Committee and Board of Directors.
- Provides consultation and advises HR, supervisors, managers, and employees on compensation matters including internal and external market analysis.
- Manages global compensation surveys including data submissions and surveillance of the external market to ensure the company has adequate benchmark data to make timely, competitive, and accurate compensation decisions.
- Provides annual input on salary and bonus budgeting.
- Involved in rollout of Compensation Structure globally to be transparent to employees.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Excellent project management skills including the ability to collaborate, organize, execute, and plan large-scale projects.

- Must have strong attention to detail, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Service-minded with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.
- Compensation certification a plus.
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in compensation program management, including experience with job architecture and incentive plan design preferred.
- 1 years’ experience with Workday configuration and Advanced Compensation Module administration required.
- Some sales commission experience a plus.
