Position Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to ensure the best quality product is produced.
Position Responsibilities:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates or technical degree is a plus
Experience:
4 years of CMM operating experience required
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing Environment
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
Varying shift schedules include early morning, evening and weekend assignments

Position Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to ensure the best quality product is produced.
Position Responsibilities:
- Program the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to effectively measure different products.
- Ensure the product passes certification test or process inspection.
- Prepare reports to describe studies and prepare documents and layouts.
- Keep the equipment and the work station clean at all times for most accurate results.
- Perform project work, while adhering to deadlines, as required.
- Establish correct inspection criteria following best practices.
- Creates and uses equipment set-ups, such as micrometers, gauges, calipers, indicators, comparator, when CMM isn’t the best solution for the project needs.
- Responsible for calibrating all tools in the location multiple times a year.
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships for site tool calibrations.
- Experience operating milling machine, surface grinder, drill press, hand tools and precision instruments
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize and multitask with minimal supervision.
