The position of Service Technician has a diverse scope of responsibilities that is directly related to the efficient operation and reputation of our company. The right candidate will demonstrate an understanding of all aspects of the service area, including equipment, tools, and company policies. Previous experience as a Service Technician is required.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot customer problems via telephone and email.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Work with customers to determine reasons for faulty equipment operation.
- Organize and update service directory of customers and inventory of various parts, supplies, and tools.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with other technicians, sales personnel, and management staff.
- Work on a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Listen to customers explain the problems they are experiencing; one must be able to jump into action without having all the facts.
- Establish trust with customers; customers must feel comfortable discussing their equipment issues with the technician.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
