What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pro Shop Attendant position at FOX HOLLOW GOLF COURSE?
Fox Hollow Golf Course in La Crosse, WI is looking for a pro shop attendant to join our staff for the 2024 golf season. We are located at N3287 County Rd OA. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and customer focused. You will assist the General Manager in the implementation of daily golf operations and continuously present our guests with the finest overall golfing experience possible.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service. Ensure that all arriving and departing guests are properly greeted, questions answered, directions given and thanked for visiting the facility.
- Respond to inquiries and make tee-times for members and guests both in person and over the phone. Converse with members and guests in a friendly manner. Focus attention on member and guest needs while remaining calm, professional and courteous at all times.
- Responsible for accurately ringing up charges at the register and checking in all golfers prior to play. This also includes proper cash handling procedures as well as making sure that all standards of operations are being met.
- Provide members with dates and times for upcoming events and to know basic details for upcoming tournament information.
- Complete opening and closing duties of the golf facility, including cash accounting.
- Stage, clean, store and otherwise manage golf cart fleet on a daily basis.
- Assist outside golf operations and staff to assure proper performance while following all daily procedures and policies.
- Make sure all areas are clean, well organized and always stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage and maintain constant communication with co-workers.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Basic golf knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Exceptional grooming habits including maintaining clean and complete attire as designated by management.
- Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner with minimal supervision.
- Must be organized, personable and enthusiastic.
- Must possess a high regard for customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
- Ability to focus attention on detail.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing and pulling. Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
