We are seeking a Mechanical SolidWorks CAD Designer & Drafter at our Green Cove Springs, FL location to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Design projects to meet customer and engineering requirements
- Draft General Arrangement drawings for customer approval
- Create fabrication drawings, travelers, and DXF files for production
- Review projects to reduce errors to the floor
- Resolve design issues in fabrication and address root causes
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
- Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
- Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
- Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams
