JOB DESCRIPTION
Big Ten Network is searching for a Manager of Crewing to join their team in Chicago, IL. The Manager is responsible for oversight of the entire crewing operation for the Big Ten Network including production crew needed in the MICR control rooms in Chicago, the Studio in Chicago, and all remote production crews. The Manager is directly responsible for the MICR control rooms and the core crews. The position exists to ensure all productions have qualified production personnel scheduled and is directly responsible for the management of this workforce.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
MICR Control Room and Core Crew
- Strategically schedules all needed positions based on individual competency, production feedback, and event priority, minimally two weeks in advance or as soon as possible
- Communicates the confirmed crews to the appropriate operations contacts by event or show
- Manages performance of workforce by providing performance feedback both in person, over the phone, and via email
- Works with FOX and BTN payroll and the corresponding payroll systems to ensure timely and accurate payment of the workforce
- Maintains a detailed spreadsheet for all assigned events including crew availability and confirmations

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $75,000.00-105,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $62,500.00-87,500.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
