Location: Fox Point Farms (1150 Quail Gardens Drive, Encinitas, CA 92024)

Pay: $16.50/hour plus tips (depending on experience)

Hours:

• Monday - Friday (mornings - midshift) availability
• 4 - 5 hours a day
• Ability to work some weekends as needed

Overview

Fox Point Farms, a thriving farm-to-table market and community hub located in the heart of Encinitas, is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Support Staff Member to help maintain our property’s exceptional standards and ensure an outstanding guest experience. This vital role is perfect for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and engaging with customers.

As a Support Staff Member, you’ll be responsible for bussing tables, ensuring the property is clean and pristine, taking out the trash, cleaning the bathrooms, and restocking all supplies, produce, and goods in the market. Essentially, you’ll be in charge of maintaining the visual aesthetic of the property and cafe, all while engaging with guests to make them feel welcome. Key Responsibilities

Property & Facility Maintenance

• Regularly sweep the property, ensuring walkways, entrances, and seating areas are clean and welcoming.
• Pick up trash and empty waste bins promptly, maintaining a tidy and organized environment.
• Clean all spills promptly to avoid hard-to-remove stains from the grounds, seats and tables.
• Ensure all tables are clean and ready for guests, including outdoor seating areas.
• Maintain spotless bathrooms by restocking supplies, cleaning surfaces, and monitoring for any needed repairs.
• Dust shelves, displays, and other store surfaces to uphold a polished and inviting aesthetic.
• Identify damages the property has sustained and report to our Facilities Maintenance Manager

Support Café and Market Operations

• Restock items for the café and counter service team, including utensils, condiments, napkins, cups and other essentials.
• Organize back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) areas to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate with the team when additional supplies or products are needed.
• Occasionally assist the Market team by preparing or expo-ing food
• Assist in inventory management as needed (receiving stock, ensuring accurate inventory levels in the system, creating price tags and barcodes etc.)

Guest Engagement

• Proactively engage with guests, asking about their experience and ensuring they are satisfied with their food and service.
• Address guests’ needs promptly and courteously, demonstrating genuine care and hospitality.
• Represent the Harvest Market brand with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Enforce Fox Point Farms’ farmer’s code of conduct to ensure all guests are treating the property with respect.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude with a willingness to take initiative and anticipate needs.
• Extremely strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and maintaining high standards.
• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of guests.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the FOH and BOH team while taking ownership of independent tasks.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and performing tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking.
• Able to shift priorities and handle multiple responsibilities with ease.
• Genuine care for creating a welcoming, clean environment for guests and staff alike.
