Customer Service/Office Assistant

Job Overview

Fox Pools is a father and son, family owned business that has been installing swimming pools for over 50 years. Because of our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support and assistance. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills and be proficient in using phone systems and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate information regarding products and services to customers.
• Assist customers with order processing, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Proofread documents to ensure accuracy before sending out communications.
• File and organize customer information in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while interacting with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Proficient in microsoft office and quickbooks.
• Able to test pool and spa water.
• Stock shelves and manage inventory.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer support or as a receptionist is preferred but not required.
• Strong clerical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in using computerized systems for data entry and retrieval.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to demonstrate patience and empathy when dealing with customer concerns.
• Familiarity with administrative tasks such as filing and document management is a plus.
• A commitment to providing outstanding service and maintaining a positive attitude at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
