What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tow truck driver position at Fox Rent A Car Inc.?

As a Tow Truck Driver , you will be a vital member of the locations Operations Team. You will tow inoperable vehicles from the locations Impound Recovery, and Tow vehicles from the customer’s location.
You will also be responsible for maintenance service on vehicles when not towing.
You will :
- Move units to and from various locations
- Recover units from impound facilities
- Assist FOX customers with the recovery of non-operational and replacement units
- Tow FOX units from locations to dealership or other repair facilities
- Complete related paperwork, invoicing and impound recovery documentation
- Control and document credit card receipts
- Perform maintenance on vehicles when no tows are scheduled or required
Requirements :
- Experience with towing or truck driving
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to read maps, GPS systems
- Maintain and submit driver and vehicle logs on time
- Phone and personal communication skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ensure truck upkeep, maintenance checks, maintain proper body condition
- Tow truck supplies & tools, inventory and maintain proper condition
