The Role:
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the execution of marketing programs that drive brand awareness and sales growth across our restaurant concepts. This position will assist in implementing local store marketing initiatives, grassroots campaigns, and national brand activations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, and training, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of marketing efforts. This role also includes managing marketing support for new restaurant openings, requiring some travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager in executing marketing tactics that align with brand campaigns and sales goals
- Assist in the development and implementation of local store marketing and grassroots initiatives to build community engagement and increase traffic
- Coordinate and support local and brand-wide marketing efforts, including events, partnerships, and in-store promotions
- Help manage social media for select brands by planning and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to guest interactions.
- Assist with briefing of assets to support brand campaigns, including but not limited to email marketing, website updates, and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive insights that inform marketing strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams (including culinary, operations, and marketing) and external vendors and partners to execute marketing initiatives
- Track and report on performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights to optimize future campaigns
- Support marketing efforts for New Restaurant Openings by executing field marketing strategies and grand opening day activations, ensuring localized marketing strategies drive awareness and guest traffic (some travel will be required)
- Manage internal communication of marketing programs with internal departments: marketing, operations, HR, and training to ensure alignment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail
- Experience with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams
- A passion for food and hospitality
- Flexibility to travel to new restaurant openings as needed
- Experience working on multiple brands simultaneously is a plus
