The Role:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy for Fox Restaurant Concepts. This role will lead content creation, community engagement, influencer partnerships, and performance analysis to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a deep understanding of social media trends, the restaurant industry, and digital marketing best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for 14 brands, aligning with overall sales and branding goals
- Stay ahead of and communicate social media platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices to keep FRC at the forefront of social media innovation
- Oversee the day-to-day relationship with our social media agency, ensuring alignment with brand goals and strategy
- Manage agency deliverables, including content curation, community management, post scheduling, and reporting
- Negotiate contracts and budgets with the agency, ensuring optimal value and performance
- Provide strategic direction to the agency to optimize engagement, growth, and brand storytelling across platforms
- Leverage social media analytics and trends to refine strategies, ensuring optimal reach and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (photos, videos, graphics, copy) across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and future emerging channels
- Collaborate with marketing, culinary, and operations teams to showcase brand identity, menu launches, special events, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Monitor social media trends, competitors, and audience insights to inform content strategy and engagement tactics
- Develop and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators to amplify brand reach
- Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze organic social media performance and identify opportunities for paid media applications
- Work closely with the marketing team to integrate social media strategies into brand plans and identify ways to apply sales-driving campaigns to social platforms
- Work with marketing and creative teams to brief and oversee content production shoots
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual aesthetics across all social media platforms
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and content creation tools
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts and driving engagement
- Experience with influencer partnerships and user-generated content strategies
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for food and hospitality
- Video production and photography experience is a plus
- Flexibility to travel for content creation and brand events as needed
