Location : Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior LivingCompensation : Commensurate with experience starting at $42 hourly.$5,000 Sign-On Bonus This is an every weekend (Saturday and Sunday)position from 3pm to 11 : 30pm SUMMARY : Supervises delivery ofresident care provided by licensed and non-licensed staff inContinuing Care. Ensures staffing and resident care standard arefollowed while on shift. Reviews documentation in medical recordsto ensure compliance with regulations, nursing standards ofpractice and Erickson policy. Participates in the on-call processas needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES : include thefollowing. Other duties may be assigned. Performs walking roundsthrough all Continuing Care neighborhoods (skilled nursing, longterm care, assisted living and memory care) to ensure nursing staffare providing the highest level of resident care possible. Reviews,adjusts and monitors nursing staffing on all neighborhoods toensure appropriate staff is available to provide resident care andmeet established PPD. Assists in resolving resident / family concernsand grievances. Assists clinical staff in assessing and resolvingclinical changes in condition in all Continuing Care neighborhoods.Reviews resident medical records to ensure completion of admissionpaper, incident follow up and resident change in clinicalcondition. Consults with on-call providers as necessary as needed.Assists in the supervision and orientation of new nursing staff.Leads investigations for injuries of unknown origin, medicationerrors and / or abuse allegations as needed or requested. Completessupervisory reports as required by the Director of Nursing. Leadsand directs nursing staff in the event of an emergency situation.Provides coaching and counseling as indicated. Conduct training,education, and evaluations as needed. May be requested to fill inas a licensed nurse on the floor in SN, LTC, AL or MC as neededduring their shift. May be required to be part of the clinicalon-call as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES : To perform thisjob successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : Basiccomputer skills required including experience with Microsoftoffice, internet and web applications Experience with electronicmedical record preferred Minimum of 1 years' floor nurse experiencein skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living or hospital isrequired. Prior supervisory required. LANGUAGE SKILLS : Must be ableto read, write, understand and communicate effectively in theEnglish language. LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS : Licensedin the state as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR certificationrequired.
